At Polliwog Post, every card sent funds a card to be sent to a hospitalized or homeless child.

When we launched Polliwog Post, we knew we wanted it to have an impact greater than the sum of its parts. Helping people spread joy to kids through the magic of snail mail is what we are about so it makes sense for us to use our cards as a way to spread joy to children that could use a little extra.

In December 2017 we were inspired by Ruby’s story, and decided to launch our first match campaign for children at Boston Children’s Hospital. As one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, Boston Children's offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age, and was named the number one pediatric hospital in the United States by U.S. News and World Report.

In January 2018 we plan to expand our giving to children living in shelters serviced by Horizons for Homeless Children (Horizons). Horizons is Massachusetts’ leading organization devoted exclusively to serving homeless children. Horizons focuses its efforts on helping young children mitigate the trauma and stress associated with homelessness. We are grateful for the ability to share our cards with the special children supported by Horizons.
